Yup, hopefully she'll continue to play GW2.  Then she'll still be spotted but without the ArenaNet tag.

NCSoft West CEO Songyee Yoon e-mailed employees with the news, adding that the company will “cut costs across the organization” and merge ArenaNet and NCSoft’s publishing divisions, Kotaku reports. “Our live game business revenue is declining as our franchises age, delays in development on PC and mobile have created further drains against our revenue projects, while our operating costs in the west have increased,” she wrote. “Where we are is not sustainable, and is not going to set us up for future success.”

This is a sad day, full of unknowns. Going to miss the regular Gaile sightings. 

On Feburary 25th, several veterans of ArenaNet Guild Wars 1 - Guild Wars 2 were let go. Two of the most famous employees Gaile Grey (Gaile The Frog) and Josh Foreman (Super Adventure Box) were dismissed. The reddit contains a list of known former employees that were let go. The wiki link has a list of players that are thanking the former employees for their services. It should be noted that at this time, Super Adventure Box has not been confirmed canceled.  Also, the status of raid developer Crystal Reid is currently unknown.
