The Tyria Pride event ends today

The Tyria Pride event ends today in #GuildWars2 ! This community-run event celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and allies both in and out of game.

I proudly rocked a traditional blue Commander dorito as I marched, with the rest of the LGBTQIA++ gamers and allies, across Tyria - from LA to Rata Sum on day 2 of the yearly GW2 TyriaPride Event.

The event started with a concert by Lunar Melodies [SONG] guild in LA - visit them at gw2song.com to check out their music - accompanied by the traditional Slubling Mosh Pit.

The parade wound through LA, Gendarran Fields (where we saved Ascalon Settlement), Queensdale, Kessex Hills, Brisban Wildlands, Caledon Forest, and Metrica Province. During the parade, we were visited by anet's own Trans Rights Lich and Essence Of Luck, as well as many well-known streamers. Artistic works in jars of bees, ale kegs, and fireworks were all along the roadways.

Many GPUs were pushed to the limit, rendering the colourful armor, mounts, fireworks, and all the glorious effects. When we hit the water in Kessex Hills, we discovered new limits, as our framerates dropped to single digits.

Much fun was had, and the parade raised over $10,100 US for the Rainbow Railroad charity.
